We use Microsoft 365 heavily, build internal systems, work alongside developers, and actively look for ways to remove manual effort using automation and AI.
This role sits at the heart of that.
The Role
This is *not a traditional admin job*.
We’re looking for a *graduate (or graduate-calibre)* individual who is organised, curious about technology, and excited by improving how a business runs through better systems, smarter processes, and automation.
You’ll work *directly under the Operations Director*, supporting day-to-day business operations — but also helping us *modernise and improve how those operations are delivered*.
Some days that means handling post, contracts, data management and scheduling. Other days it means improving a spreadsheet, configuring a CRM workflow, or helping prototype a low-code internal app.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Core Operations*
* Supporting daily business administration (contracts, post, records, supplier coordination, purchases, deliveries)
* Handling inbound emails and calls professionally
* Scheduling work and coordinating with technical teams
* Preparing quotes, proposals, and documentation
* Maintaining accurate records across systems
*Systems & Process Improvement*
* Working with Excel, Microsoft Lists, and SharePoint to improve tracking and visibility
* Learning and using CRM systems and internal tools
* Exploring Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
* Helping document, streamline, and automate operational workflows
* Using AI tools to reduce admin effort and improve accuracy

* Learning how modern IT-led businesses operate
* Exposure to developers, networks, software, and automation projects
* Opportunity to grow into operations management, systems ownership, or automation-focused roles
What We’re Looking For
*Essential*
* Graduate (or equivalent experience with a strong learning mindset)
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Confident using computers and learning new software
* Comfortable with spreadsheets and data
* Clear written and verbal communication
* Happy to do both “important admin” and “interesting systems work”
*Strongly Preferred*
* Interest in technology, systems, automation, or AI
* Experience with Excel and data beyond the basics
* Curiosity about tools like CRMs, dashboards, or low-code platforms
* Willingness to experiment and suggest improvements
*Not Required (but nice to have)*
* Microsoft Power Apps / Power Automate / Power BI
* CRM systems
* Any automation or no-code experience
