*Position Overview:*
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented *Pharmacy Technician* to work at a correctional facility in *Blythe, CA*. This is a steady weekday schedule with no nights or weekends, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for consistency and work-life balance.
*Orientation & Training:*
* *2-week paid orientation* provided onsite
* Training will cover facility procedures, pharmacy workflows, and compliance requirements
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assist the pharmacist with medication preparation and dispensing
* Accurately package, label, and track medications
* Maintain proper documentation and inventory control
* Follow all correctional facility policies, safety standards, and HIPAA guidelines
* Work collaboratively with healthcare and custody staff
*Requirements:*
* Active *Pharmacy Technician license* in the state of California
* Prior pharmacy experience preferred (retail, hospital, or correctional a plus)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
* Ability to pass background and clearance requirements for a correctional facility
