Accounts Payable& Receiving Clerk

PICO of Canada Ltd. is a division of Techspan Industries Inc. We are a wholesaler selling across Canada. Our products include light duty electrical terminals and components, including spooled products. We are seeking an Accounts Payable & Receiving Clerk to work in our Burnaby branch and our willing to train. This is a full-time, permanent position working with 2 others in the Finance Team. Depending on your experience wage range is $23-28 per hour. Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm. Monday to Friday. Located just north of Burnaby Lake.

Duties:

Accounts Payable Work

1. Collecting, Coding & Entering vendor invoices into the software system

2. Producing bi-weekly payment runs

3. Producing ad hoc payments

4. Processing payments to vendors by cheque, EFT, ACH & Wire Transfers

5. Solving vendor discrepancies

6. Updating month & annual reports

7. Filing – online & physical

8. Additional tasks as requested

Receiving Administration

1. Verifying Invoices against Purchase Orders

2. Collecting costs related to Purchase Orders

3. Receiving Inventory into the software system

4. Resolving discrepancies, working with warehouse staff

Requirements:

1. Canadian Resident

2. English fluency (both spoken and written)

3. Solid numeric accuracy and attention to detail

4. Computer experience

Additional assets:

1. Experience in Bookkeeping / Accounting

2. Experience in customer service / phone work

3. Experience in warehouse environment

Location: Central East Burnaby between Lougheed Highway and the Number 1 freeway. 5-10 minutes walking time to bus #110 routes to Metrotown or Lougheed stations. 20 minutes to walk to Production Way sky-train station.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
