Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Founding Engineer at FriendOS. Based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, this position combines on-site collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. The Founding Engineer will be responsible for leading and contributing to the design, development, and implementation of the company's core technological products. Daily responsibilities include building scalable systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams on product design, writing efficient and maintainable code, and implementing best practices in software development. The role also involves troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges while supporting the growth of the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in software development, programming languages, and software architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills, debugging abilities, and experience in system design.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, project management, and technical leadership.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, infrastructure management, and DevOps tools is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for teamwork and cross-functional interactions.
• Prior experience in a startup environment or as a founding/early-stage team member is advantageous.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is recommended.
