Warehouse Associate

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic distribution team. This role is essential in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, familiarity with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety. MiG welding experience is a major plus. Must prove capabilities.

Duties

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment utilizing order picklists.
• Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting and data entry within warehouse management systems.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other heavy machinery safely in accordance with OSHA standards
• Stock shelves and organize materials efficiently for easy access and optimal workflow
• Assist with shipping & receiving processes including labeling, documentation, and load & unload activities
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and mechanical knowledge guidelines
• Support warehouse distribution activities including order fulfillment, materials handling, and packaging

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and material handling tools, to include Bandsaws, and Other small hand tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control accurately
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks throughout the shift, of no less than 70lbs at a time.
• Experience in shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, stocking, manufacturing support, or construction environments is advantageous
• MiG welding experience will offer additional pay. Must prove experience in an on-site test.
