Job Overview

Daniel's Miami Steakhouse is seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The Host/Host is the first point of contact for our guests and plays a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for managing the flow of guests in and out of the restaurant, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well-cared for.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and welcome them to the restaurant
• Manage the waiting list and ensure that guests are seated in a timely manner
• Take reservations and manage the reservation book
• Communicate effectively with guests, answering questions and addressing concerns
• Handle phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the host stand
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest leaves the restaurant feeling satisfied
• Collaborate with the hospitality team to provide an exceptional dining experience
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude, serving as a representative of the restaurant

Qualifications

• Experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant environment
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
• Basic computer skills and experience with RESY
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
• Friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Strong phone etiquette and the ability to handle phone calls professionally
• Ability to assist with guest services and relations

• A commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every guest leaves the restaurant feeling satisfied.

• Experience working with Resy is required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
