Salary:
$24.47- $25.75 per hour (based on experience) + Driver Trainer Stipend $2.63

Requirements:
Ability to obtain CDL Class B drivers license with passenger and school bus endorsements with
current school bus physical (Bloomington Schools will assist)

Job Description:

• Training new and current School Bus Driver's, Assistants, and Type III's
• Ride with new driver's to assist in training them to learn new routes/ fueling/ supplies
• Assist with remedial training of driver's/ aides when requested by the Safety and Compliance Manager or other Management
• Ability to drive any route, anytime, in any bus as directed by Dispatch.
• Able to read maps and or follow driving directions.
• Follow route copies precisely.
• Report on time for all assigned duties
• Deliver outstanding customer service to:
• Students
• Parents
• School staff
• Office staff and mechanics
• Fellow drivers and assistants
• Be a positive role model and a resource to fellow driver's/ assistants
• Show courteous behavior toward the driving public.
• Must exhibit the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Must ensure that all rules, laws and policies set by Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Bloomington School District are strictly adhered to.
• Must be willing to communicate any performance issues to the Management Staff. (Safety and Compliance Manager)
• Assist Mechanics during inclement weather (moving buses)
• Pre-trip buses daily as directed by Dispatch

Experience:
Previous working with children a plus.
Must have drivers license for at least 1year

Hours:
8 hrs per day/ split shift, 5 days a week, 10 months a year
