Dietary Aide

We seek a Bilingual Cook (Chines/English) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Dietary Aide Cook, you will assist the kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals to residents and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation and cooking

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and portion control

• Follow menus and prepare food items as directed by the Cook or Dietary Manager

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas as assigned on cleaning schedule

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred

• Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and instructions

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, Food Handlers Certification

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
