Job Opportunity: PCA; Personal Care Assistant at Trinity Elms Assisted Living

Are you passionate about caring for others and looking for an opportunity to make a difference in a senior living community? Trinity Elms Assisted Living is hiring for a 1st Shift Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our dedicated team.

Position Details

Shift: 3rd shift 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Location: Trinity Elms Assisted Living Community

Responsibilities

This position requires providing compassionate care to residents while fostering a home-like atmosphere. Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and dietary needs.
• Repositioning and transferring residents following established safe lifting procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Collaborating with teammates to meet residents' individual needs.

Qualifications

• Completion of an 80-hour PCA course (required for work in an assisted living community).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional interpersonal and time management skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift weights up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to stand and/or walk for extended periods while transporting objects.
• Occasional bending, squatting, or reaching as required.
• Assistance with repositioning and transferring individuals of varying weights.
• Mobility throughout the facility.
