Landscape Architect/Project Manager:

Seeking a Landscape Architect who brings both design excellence and a broader understanding of project management, client relations, and team leadership. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to step into a management position, contributing to project delivery, custom detailing, and construction administration in a small firm environment.

Our office is currently located in Lafayette, CA. Our projects are located in the South Bay, on the peninsula. Compensation will meet experience and performance. Requirements:

· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture

· Licensed Landscape Architect

· Five years' experience in landscape architecture

· Technical skills – AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Land F/X, 3D Rendering, MS Office

· Soft skills – communication with internal team for distribution and management of work, communication with contractors, communication/coordination with design team members, communication with municipalities.

Responsibilities:

· Participate in multiple projects in various stages of documentation simultaneously to ensure design integrity and attention to detail throughout each project.

· Communicate well and work collaboratively with project teams, consultants, contractors, and municipalities to execute projects through the design and construction phases.

· Manage and mentor internal team members to complete project documentation/needs.

· Manage individual project budgets and report to ownership on project status and needs.

· Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

· Contribute to projects in all phases of development and documentation, including project research, and specification of materials/products/systems.

· Assume many responsibilities associated with management, production, organization, and coordination of documents that accurately communicate the design and construction intent.
