Responsibilities and more:

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

* Assist in the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

* Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly management reports, highlighting trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

* Track and report on departmental and company-wide performance against budget and forecast.

Financial Modeling & Reporting:

* Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate business scenarios, including profitability analysis, new project investment, and market expansion.

* Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support (e.g., ROI, NPV, IRR analysis).

* Support the preparation of materials for executive leadership and board meetings.

Operational & Performance Analysis:

* Partner with various business units (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations) to provide financial guidance and analyze the financial impact of business initiatives.

* Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, margin improvement, and process optimization.

* Perform competitor analysis and market research to inform strategic planning.

Data Management & Visualization:

* Consolidate and analyze financial data from multiple sources (ERP systems, CRM, etc.) to ensure data integrity.

* Create clear and compelling dashboards and presentations to communicate findings to non-financial stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint.

* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.

* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
