About The Role

The Supervisor, Inventory oversees all warehouse receiving, storage, and inventory control operations. This role ensures accuracy in inventory tracking, compliance with regulatory standards, and timely replenishment of materials. The Supervisor leads the inventory team to maintain efficient warehouse processes that support research operations and organizational objectives.

What You'll Do Here

• Manage receiving and inventory of all incoming materials physically and in the ERP system.

• Oversee efficient receipt of all import containers, LTL deliveries, and small parcel shipments.

• Direct inbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehouse activities, safety performance, and quality management.

• Develop and implement control procedures that require adherence to FDA governmental standards for the shipping and receiving area.

• Maintain tracking information for oxygen deliveries for FDA and accreditation audits.

• Maintain certification and safe operation of sit-down and stand-up forklifts and other powered equipment.

• Maintain stock supplies according to established min/max levels to ensure smooth site operations and replenish based on current demand.

• Oversee secondary storage areas to ensure adequate supply and organization.

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and manage inventory-related requests.

• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all SOPs and audit requirements.

• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives for efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two‑two-year college or technical school

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience

• 3 plus years related experience

• Forklift certification (sit-down and stand-up required).

• Valid driver's license preferred.

• Proficiency with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Knowledge of FDA and ISO compliance standards.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and industry specific manuals. Ability to write advanced reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Well developed interpersonal skills are required.

• Personal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information.

• Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.

• Capable of managing multiple conflicting priorities.

• Must be self-directed, motivated, and have a willingness to take the initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.

• Relevant industry experience a plus.
