We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Duties
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for toddlers
- Foster a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents or guardians about each child's progress and needs
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities that align with early childhood education standards
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings, especially with toddlers
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
- Strong classroom management skills to create an organized and nurturing environment
- Ability to handle caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and supervising active children
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Experience with behavior management strategies suitable for young children
