ABOUT YOUR ROLE HERE
Our Patient Care Representatives must be genuine and friendly, providing exceptional patient service. Patient Care Representatives will be tasked with handling a large volume of phone calls and in-person interactions, therefore, the capacity to communicate effectively and professionally is a MUST. A Patient Care Representative must possess a professional demeanor, have computer/phone skills and have a willingness to learn. Because Patient Care Representatives act as the "hub" between patients, doctors, and optometric staff, the ability to interact and communicate effectively with staff, both electronically and verbally, needs to be strong. Balancing multiple tasks with frequent interruptions while maintaining a calm and friendly disposition is a necessary quality for our Patient Care Representatives. Most importantly, we expect our Patient Care Representatives to strive for excellence in patient service.

YOUR DUTIES
· Answering Phones
· Scheduling Appointments
· Entering Demographic Information
· Verification of Insurance
· Confirmation Calls, Texts and Emails
· Checking Patients In/Out for Exams
· Preparing Patient Paperwork
· Filing Patient Charts
· Taking Patient Payments
· Balancing Cash Drawer
· Keeping the Lobby Area Clean
· Other Duties as Needed/Assigned

YOUR EXPERIENCE
Experience in medical reception/office is preferred, but not required. We will train the right individual.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
