Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced
APM ServiceNow Specialist
to manage and enhance our Application Portfolio Management (APM) processes within the
ServiceNow platform
. As an APM ServiceNow Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the lifecycle of applications across the organization. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of ServiceNow APM modules, implementing best practices, and ensuring efficient management of our application portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and administration of ServiceNow's APM module.
- Manage the application lifecycle, including portfolio optimization, decommissioning, and rationalization.
- Work closely with stakeholders across IT, business, and governance teams to define and document APM requirements and processes.
- Ensure data integrity in the application portfolio, including accuracy of application information and its relationship with infrastructure and services.
- Develop and manage reports, dashboards, and performance metrics related to the application portfolio.
- Conduct application assessments to evaluate business value, technical health, and risk factors.
- Provide support and training to end-users and stakeholders on ServiceNow APM functionality and best practices.
- Collaborate with other ITSM teams to integrate APM with other ServiceNow modules, such as IT Asset Management (ITAM), Change Management, and Incident Management.
- Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow releases and APM best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow, specifically in the Application Portfolio Management (APM) module.
- CIS - APM Certificate required.
- Strong understanding of APM processes, including application lifecycle management, portfolio rationalization, and risk assessments.
- Experience with ServiceNow configuration and customization, including reports, dashboards, and business rules.
- Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM frameworks and best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
