Security Officer

ENTRY LEVEL POSITION

Job Description:

We are seeking a Security Officer Unarmed to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons in various locations.

Responsibilities:

· Logging inbound and outbound trucks

· Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules

· Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security

· Warn violators of premise rules and regulations

· Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts

· Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes

· Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields preferred but not required.

· Familiarity with security equipment

· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing the English language for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.

· Ability to handle physical workload

· Strong attention to detail

· Must speak / read English

· Pass a background check

· Must be willing to work weekends.

· Ability to pass our Pre-Employment screening, including drug test.

· Must have reliable transportation to work.

· Current Texas Security Officer License (preferred but not required)

· Must have a valid state license or ID card

· Must have High School Diploma or GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.50 per hour
