Join a team that values precision, reliability, and efficiency. We're seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Logistic and Warehouse Specialist to help ensure smooth logistic operations and accurate inventory management.
Core Duties
- Unload, inspect and verify quantity, description and quality of products received at CBG align with respective Purchase Order
- Process documentation and/or electronic transactions to receive products, materials and supplies into CBG's ERP system
- Label/barcode deliveries and place materials in their designated locations; update barcode locations in ERP system
- Facilitate replacement/refund of damages and/or discrepancies in price, quality and quantity with supplier
- Securely, safely, completely and properly package outbound shipments of CBG units, materials, and supplies to meet CBG's shipping quality metric annually
- Obtain and relay outbound freight price quotations competitively as requested by CBG associates
- Safely and efficiently operate power tools, forklifts, pallet jack, bander, hand tools, chain fall hoist, etc. in performance of job function
- Coordinate pick up/shipment of products, materials and supplies from CBG's facility(ies) in accord with schedule and to meet customer expectations and achieve CBG's on-time shipping goal annually
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of non-coded supply items using Kan-Ban system
- Maintain, move and store CBG warehouse materials/stock in an orderly, organized, timely fashion
- Meet periodically with logistic partners/vendors to discuss quality, on-time delivery, rates and improvement opportunities
- Maintain regulatory certifications to enable paperwork completion and shipment of international and hazardous/dangerous materials.
- Maintain clean, orderly, segregated shipping and receiving areas
- Provide support for Inventory, Warehouse and Chemical Processing Room departments
- Rotate and switch positions one week per month with Warehouse and Inventory Specialist; coordinate with Manager monthly
- Observe all safety and regulatory directives
- Undertake such other duties as may be required within the general scope of the job
Requirements
- 3-5 years Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse experience
- Experience with international shipping, customs and brokerage firms
- Computer experience (i.e., Fed Ex, UPS, DHL and other shipping programs, etc.)
- Proficiency with power tools, forklift, hand tools and crating/woodworking
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to lift 50 pounds
