Lead Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant educational environment. The Lead Teacher will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive classroom that promotes childhood development, literacy, and social-emotional growth. This energetic professional will lead curriculum development, implement effective classroom management strategies, and collaborate with families and staff to ensure each child's success. The ideal candidate is committed to early childhood education, and possesses excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

1. Complete monthly theme-based, developmentally- appropriate curriculum

2. Create a warm, inviting, challenging classroom environment

3. Greet Parents and make them feel welcome in the center

4. Communicate with parents through our center wide app called "ProCare"

5. Carry out parent/teacher conferences twice a year

6. Meet annual in-service training requirements

7. Comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the personnel policy handbook

8. Maintain a professional attitude and conduct in relation to center, staff, and children

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
