Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate line cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the kitchen. This role requires a commitment to food safety and excellence in food presentation, ensuring that every dish is crafted with care and precision. Following recipes and instructions is key.

Partner sharing offered after 3 years, full time employment.

This is a PM position starting at 3pm.

Duties

• Prepare and present a variety of japanese small plates following traditional techniques and recipes.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and innovative offerings.
• Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to maintain the highest quality of food service.
• Keep up-to-date with current trends in the culinary industry to enhance menu offerings

Qualifications

• Proven experience or similar role within the food industry, preferably in a fine dining environment.
• Strong culinary skills with expertise in knife skills and food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling raw fish and other ingredients.
• Excellent attention to detail with a passion for creating visually appealing dishes.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
