Full Time Sales Associate

Job Overview

The sales associate is directly responsible for, meeting and surpassing individual sales goals and providing additional support for the store and other staff. In addition, the sales associate is responsible maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the sales floor.

This job pays $18 per hour plus commission.

Responsibilities or duties

• Improving store sales by achieving individual sales goals

• Creating and maintaining a sales pipeline

• Experience with and Processing transactions on POS

• Proficient in Microsoft outlook, word, and excel.

• Processing transactions on POS

• Answering the phones

• Merchandising the showroom, creating appealing store displays and maintenance of the sales floor

• General store housekeeping duties, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, cleaning the cash desk etc.

• Responsible for providing customers with positive shopping experiences

-Maintaining a culture of collaboration and teamwork

• Additional support for the sales team, when necessary, in any aspect including but not limited to; sales, moving product for customers, assembling/disassembling product, wrapping merchandise

• Creating tags as specified by the manager

Ideal candidate

• Key holder experience an asset

• Sales experience a must

• Experience with building relationships

• Home decor or design an asset

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Flexible schedule. Must be able to work weekdays and at least one weekend shift or both Saturday and Sunday .

• Does not require sponsorship and legally able to work in Canada without limitations.
