About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented administrative professional with a passion for healthcare? Jamestown Family Health Clinic is looking for a Clinic Support Team Member to join our Admin Clinic team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our patient coordination, ensuring that health information is managed accurately and that every patient receives a seamless experience from check-in to follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinic Support Team Member, you will maintain a customer-focused approach while performing essential administrative duties, including:
- Patient Coordination: Schedule appointments, check-in patients, and register new patients in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Medical Records & Documentation: Process medical record releases, scan clinic documents to charts, and manage incoming e-faxes for Care Teams.
- Referrals & Authorizations: Process and track specialty care referrals and handle prior authorizations for patient services and pharmacy.
- Communication: Manage multi-line phone calls from patients and providers, and prepare/send Results Letters.
- Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines, CMS regulations, and JFHC safety standards.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: * Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge: Basic medical terminology, common prescription medications, and primary care services.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with standard office equipment (copiers, faxes, scanners).
- Compliance: Valid Washington State Driver's License and ability to pass a criminal background investigation.
- Health & Safety: Must uphold all current vaccine requirements for employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree.
- Previous experience with multi-line telephone systems.
- Familiarity with Local, State, and Federal healthcare laws.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
