Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a productive and motivated work environment for the Sales Support team while helping improve the overall IPD customer service experience.

Reporting directly to the Customer Care Business Manager, this role will be based in Wetherill Park.

About the role:

This role focuses on managing team performance, enhancing service levels, and supporting continuous improvement aligned with business goals.

  • Managing daily Sales Support team operations to ensure efficiency, high performance, and safe work practices.
  • Driving and monitoring key customer service metrics, including enquiry response times, accuracy, and technical quality, while assessing team capacity and service quality.
  • Supporting case management and triaging enquiries as needed, while delegating tasks aligned with team members' strengths and company policies.
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members to build a motivated and high-performing team.
  • Resolving internal team conflicts professionally to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborating with the Business Manager to continuously improve Customer Satisfaction Survey results.
  • Operating within existing processes and identifying opportunities for ongoing improvement
  • Reviewing and enhancing organisational processes and developing innovative improvement strategies.
     

Skills And Experiences

About you:

  • Previous experience in the Electrical Industry or related technical background is highly desirable.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in team management and leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated ability in coaching team members and providing constructive feedback to support professional development.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Skilled in motivating, leading, and holding team members accountable.
  • Committed to delivering high standards of quality and customer service.
  • Effective in managing and achieving Customer Service KPIs.
