The Opportunity:

Under the direction of the VP, Clinical Services, the Director, Clinical Services & Partnerships is responsible for managing the strategy, development, and expansion of our Partner Network and strategic initiatives across Canada. This role involves managing key relationships, supporting the clinical services team, and ensuring operational and financial success.

The Director, Clinical Services & Partnerships will collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to enhance patient access, optimize service delivery, and align initiatives with the organization's long-term Clinical Services strategy.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to continue the expansion of the Partner Network 
  • Oversee relationships with a diverse portfolio of strategic partners, including national and regional infusion providers, to drive network growth and market expansion.
  • Drive partnerships that contribute to the company's revenue targets, ensuring that partnerships deliver ROI through lead generation, joint initiatives, and integrations.
  • Lead and mentor members of the team, ensuring effective execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Oversee, hire, train and develop team members as the partnership program scales.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to align partnership initiatives with broader company goals; coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration with partners and maximize joint value.
  • Lead negotiations with partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring legal, quality, and financial terms align with the company's objectives. 
  • Oversee the partnership contracts, renewals, and negotiations.
  • Accountable for the approval, ROI and implementation of business cases for new investments.
  • Oversee tracking, analyzing, and reports on partnership performance, using data and KPIs to measure success and make informed decisions about the future direction of partnerships.
  • Provide insights to leadership on the overall health and impact of the partner ecosystem. 
  • Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactively resolving business, technical and policy issues, serving as an internal and external advocate.
  • Coordinate with VP, Biopharma Services to build relationships with pharmaceutical stakeholders and ensure alignment. 
  • Support development of processes, workflows, and organizational systems to enable partnership utilization and meet Patient Support Program (PSP) requirements.
  • Proactively identify roadblocks and inefficiencies and lead iterative process improvement initiatives that will defend and extend client success.
  • Represent Sentrex with credibility, authenticity, and a commitment to deliver best-in-class patient support.
  • Engage and champion long term key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and evolve long-standing client and industry relationships.
  • Be creative in the delivery of new approaches to ensure partnerships value and understand the customized Sentrex program offering and, more importantly, that they succeed by extracting the value Sentrex delivers.
  • Lead by example and assume accountability for management decisions and actions, reporting either to internal or external partners, clients, and stakeholders,
  • Cultivate a learning organization by encouraging knowledge-sharing and team development,
  • Understand and manage all issues in a manner that is consistent with Sentrex Mission, Vision, Values, and brand.
  • Responsible for talent management, team motivation and career development strategies. 
  • Additional duties as assigned by your manager

What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

  • A university degree in an applicable field is preferred.
  • Previous Director level experience within Patient Support Programs is required.
  • Experience in partnership management required.
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience of the pharmaceutical industry including specialty mediations, infusion networks, patient support programs, specialty pharmacy services and the competitive environment 
  • Self- sufficient, focused leader with a propensity towards executing and driving results.
  • Strong relationship management development skills.
  • Previous experience developing and managing contracts is required.
  • Ability to communicate complex value propositions and negotiate trade terms, collaborations, partnerships and other opportunities with external partners. 
  • Strong customer/client management background. 
  • High energy, high-integrity individual who can simultaneously inspire change while sustaining a culture of team harmony and high performance.
  • Must have a strong leadership capability to influence and motivate direct reports and cross-functional teams, while holding stakeholders accountable to deliver on business objectives.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record of innovation 
  • Strong executional skills – ability to take an idea from concept to implementation. 
  • Critical thinking skills, creative and innovative solutions to internal or external client needs.
