Could you be the full-time Sub-System Engineer – HVAC in Saint-Bruno we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates in the Passenger Comfort team.

You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and validating HVAC systems to ensure passenger comfort and safety. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (train architecture, procurement, and manufacturing), align system requirements with other engineering disciplines, and oversee supplier collaboration, and much more.

You'll specifically take care of equipment sizing calculations and system integration, but also lead design reviews and validation activities.

We'll look to you for:

  • Performing equipment sizing calculations

  • Developing equipment integration and ducting architecture

  • Analyzing system requirements and aligning them with other engineering disciplines

  • Reviewing supplier proposals

  • Overseeing equipment development and validation

  • Conducting train-level validation and performance testing

All about you

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field

  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), or eligibility to become one

  • Experience in a manufacturing or design environment

  • Experience in systems integration

  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software concepts

  • Expertise in system failure analysis and troubleshooting

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Knowledge of HVAC design or aerodynamic principles is a plus

  • Proficiency in French and English
