Dishwasher/Food Prep

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of food items, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of various food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Support banquet and catering events by preparing food items as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
• Perform food handling tasks in compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and presentation of meals.
• Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests during events, if applicable.

Skills

• Strong food preparation skills with experience in cooking and cleaning within a kitchen environment.
• Familiarity with food service operations, including restaurant or hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to handle food safely and maintain hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration within a fast-paced culinary setting.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices is beneficial, along with a passion for hospitality and serving others. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $12.00 per hour
