Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant Lead to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the clinical team, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining efficient operations. This role requires a strong background in dental assisting and a comprehensive understanding of general procedures and practices.
Duties
- Lead and mentor the clinical team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate patient care activities, including preparing patients for procedures and assisting during treatments.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively in communication with patients and staff.
- Implement aseptic techniques and four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Conduct training sessions for new team members on clinical protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Skills
- Must have experience working as a Dental Assistant
- Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles and procedures.
- Proficient understanding of anatomy relevant to dental practices.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and clinic operations.
- Expertise in infection control measures within a dental setting.
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively.
- Competence in aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile work environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
