Dietary Aide

The dietary aide is responsible for assisting cooking staff with equipment and general kitchen area including floors, dish room, and resident dining room.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dining service to all residents in prompt and courteous manner
• Responsible for dish room duties to include cleaning, sanitization, and storing of clean dishes
• Responsible for maintaining proper appearance and cleanliness of dining room
• Maintains clean and sanitized kitchen and dining areas including work stations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Sincere desire to work with the elderly and physically disabled population
• Confidentiality of all resident and facility information
• This position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism at all times
• Good communication skills
• Use hands for repetitive grasping, pushing/pulling, fine manipulation
• Have the ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach
• Ability to remain calm in high pressure situations
