A Welder Apprentice assists experienced welders in various tasks, gaining hands-on experience and developing skills in welding techniques. This role involves a combination of fieldwork, technical training, and adherence to safety protocols. 

 RESPONSIBILITES

What You'll Be Doing:
 

• Adheres to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance. 
• Communicates any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor to facilitate prompt correction or reporting.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless customer service.
• Components in cutting and grinding structural steel.

QUALIFICATIONS

What You'll Need For Success:

• Must be in a registered Canadian apprentice program. 
• Follow Badger's best practices with a focus on Best Operator, Best Truck. 
• 2-3 years of related experience.
• Proficient in SMAW, GMAW welding in all positions.
• Metal Core is a plus
