Business Analyst, Manufacturing Systems

The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting stakeholder requirements for internally developed manufacturing systems. You will play a key role in liaising between operational teams and the development team to ensure understanding of requirements, quality of deliverables, and success of deployments at manufacturing sites.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Needs analysis

  • Gather and understand business requirements from operational teams and stakeholders.

  • Translate requirements into clear functional specifications for the development team.

  • Prioritize requests in collaboration with business managers.

Documentation

  • Draft functional and technical documentation to facilitate understanding between business and IT teams.

  • Keep reference documents (processes, workflows, user guides) up to date.

Tests and validation

  • Execute User Acceptance Tests (UAT), either alone or in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Document the results and follow up on anomalies until they are resolved.

Training and support

  • Prepare training documentation for end users.

  • Organize and facilitate training sessions during deployments.

  • Provide functional support during the testing and production phases.

Deployment and monitoring

  • Participate in the planning and coordination of deployments at manufacturing sites.

  • Collaborate with local teams to ensure effective system adoption.

  • Track issues during start-up at sites by coordinating corrective actions and communicating with stakeholders.`

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Experience in business analysis within a manufacturing or industrial context.

  • Knowledge of MES systems and production processes.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team and engage with diverse stakeholders (operations, IT, management).

  • Proficiency in documentation and project management tools.
