Electrician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, providing essential electrical services across various construction and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites, reading blueprints and schematics, and handling both low and high voltage systems. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment, utilizing a broad range of electrical skills and tools.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring compliance with NEC standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately perform wiring and installation tasks.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters and ammeters to diagnose electrical issues and perform troubleshooting.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems safely, following all safety protocols.
• Assist in construction activities including frame carpentry as needed for electrical installations.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and building codes, including proper grounding and wiring practices.
• Collaborate with project teams on construction sites to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and quality assurance purposes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of NEC regulations, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and electrical codes.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
• Experience working on construction sites with the ability to adapt to various environments.
• Ability to work safely with low voltage and high voltage systems while following all safety procedures.
• Construction experience including framing carpentry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing electrical issues.
• Relevant certifications or licenses are highly desirable. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of managing complex electrical tasks while maintaining safety standards across diverse project sites.

Pay: $ $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
