Position: System Integration and Test Lead
Overview
The System Integration and Test Lead is responsible for managing system integration and comprehensive testing for both existing and future end-to-end systems within the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring reliable and efficient technical system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of system integration and test engineers handling complex wireless communication systems.
- Develop, review, and maintain detailed test plans and procedures.
- Analyze test logs to extract results and support troubleshooting.
- Conduct detailed system failure analysis to aid in root cause investigations.
- Select and define software tools to automate testing protocols and data analysis.
- Specify and develop simulators to support holistic, end-to-end system testing.
- Prepare comprehensive, actionable test reports.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, firmware engineers, and product managers.
- Build and manage internal teams and engage contractors as needed to meet project demands.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to interface across diverse departments and management levels.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in technical system integration and testing leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience in developing test plans and procedures and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Physical and Work Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Flexible to work beyond regular business hours when necessary to meet project goals.
- Ability to work for extended periods at a desk and operate standard workplace equipment.
- Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
