Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring all safety and food handling standards are met. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with strong time management and sales skills. This role offers an opportunity to engage with diverse clientele while showcasing your expertise in the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for billing purposes.
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to legal drinking age regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering, banquet, or nightclub events.
• Uphold all food safety protocols related to food handling, beverage preparation, and sanitation standards.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Assist in setting up for special events such as weddings, parties, or corporate functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
• Previous experience in retail math, catering, or brewing is a plus but not required.
