Radiology Assistant

Radiology Assistant at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Provide ongoing patient services for the Imaging departments by checking in patients for their Imaging procedures.  Assist all patients through their Imaging procedure in a compassionate and time efficient manner. Perform a variety of procedures which include Contrast administration, Venipuncture as determined by departmental leadership in accordance with department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 

Preferred qualifications: 

• Coursework/Training and Medical Terminology education.
• Upon hire: Venipuncture certification 
• 1 year of experience in an outpatient or hospital x-ray setting.
