Veterinary Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Veterinary Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing veterinary team. This role is the first point of contact for our clients and plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience for both pet parents and their pets. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment and is passionate about animal care and client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients warmly, in person and over the phone
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
  • Educate clients on hospital services, wellness plans, and preventive care
  • Collect and verify patient information, medical records, and consent forms
  • Process payments, estimates, invoices, and deposits accurately
  • Handle client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
  • Coordinate communication between clients, technicians, and veterinarians
  • Assist with light administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory tracking
  • Support hospital workflow during busy periods and emergencies

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a calm, friendly, and professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer-facing role preferred
  • Passion for animals and comfort interacting with pet owners during stressful situations
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computer systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medical and financial information
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Veterinary clinic: 1 year (Preferred)
