Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our lively hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with legal requirements
• Assist in setting up for events like banquets or catering functions, providing seamless service during busy periods
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, balancing registers at shift end while maintaining accuracy in retail math and basic math calculations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; retail math and food industry knowledge preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service times
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and engaging personality
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service laws
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, billing, and sales transactions accurately
• Previous restaurant experience or hospitality background is preferred; experience in brewing or catering is a plus
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including nights and weekends
