Receiving and Shipping Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our Windom, MN facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and serving as the primary coordinator between warehouse operations, and transportation.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate activities on the manufacturing floor to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Oversee production line operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs.
• Operate or coordinate the operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for material handling.
• Manage inventory levels, coordinate material movement, and ensure proper storage within the warehouse.
• Train and mentor team members on safety practices, equipment operation, and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for preventive maintenance schedules and repairs.
• Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Warehouse experience including forklift operation is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and factory safety standards.
• Ability to lead a team effectively, motivate staff, and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and process management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $58,000.00 per year
