Maintenance Technician

Lavigne Oil Company is looking to hire a maintenance technician to assist with our convenience store repair needs and location maintenance, as well as maintaining our fuel equipment. Duties include installing fuel tank monitors, minor plumbing repairs, lighting install, commercial equipment repair, minor electrical and HVAC along with general office maintenance. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with similar equipment, prior HVAC, electrical or plumbing knowledge a plus. The maintenance employee works alone, sometimes unsupervised, but is also required to report issues to office staff and heavily document work completed via a project management software. The position is great for someone looking fora long term career at a growing company. Potential for overtime as needed. From time to time, weekend work would be required, but scheduled in advance.

Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will utilize your core skills in mechanical knowledge and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English with strong mechanical knowledge
• Experience in facilities maintenance and schematics interpretation
• Familiarity with general maintenance and electrical systems
