About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join an early-stage startup and help build a groundbreaking product from the ground up. You are a maker at heart, deeply passionate about software craftsmanship, and thrive on building innovative, scalable, and secure systems.

Responsibilities:

• Build scalable, secure backend services capable of handling enterprise-scale workloads.
• Design and implement distributed, high-availability systems.
• Uphold a "secure by design" product principle across web, backend, and infrastructure.
• Design web and service-to-service APIs, model database schemas, and create robust system integration patterns.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 6–20 years of experience in backend software engineering, with strong focus on Go or JavaScript.
• Proven experience designing and building scalable, secure systems.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
• Strong API design, database modeling, and system integration skills.
• Passion for quality, innovation, and building delightful software experiences.
