Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of machinery, physical structures, and building systems. This is a hands-on, high-impact position essential to keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

If you're a strong problem-solver with broad technical ability—from basic facility upkeep to complex machine repair—this is an excellent opportunity to grow and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities
Equipment & Machinery Maintenance
  • Visually inspect, test, and evaluate machinery and equipment to identify issues before failures occur.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems and perform effective repairs.
  • Dismantle defective machines, remove worn parts, and install new or rebuilt components.
  • Clean, lubricate, and service shafts, bearings, gears, motors, and other moving parts.
  • Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and utilities.
  • Set up and operate machine tools (lathe, grinder, drill press, milling machine) to repair or fabricate parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
  • Troubleshoot recurring issues and provide independent recommendations to prevent future downtime.
Facility & Building Systems
  • Repair physical structures, including walls, floors, doors, and general facility components.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks including basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and light electrical work.
  • Replace lighting, handle basic custodial tasks when needed, and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Safely work at heights up to 30 feet using aerial or scissor lifts.
Safety, Documentation & Collaboration
  • Follow all OSHA safety standards, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Properly use lockout/tag-out (LOTO) practices to ensure safe maintenance.
  • Document all maintenance activities in the CMMS or preventive maintenance database.
  • Coordinate with Scheduling when maintenance tasks will impact production (1+ hour downtime).
  • Know when to call in specialized technicians for advanced repairs.
  • Maintain a strict maintenance schedule while adapting to changing priorities and urgent needs.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, pipe systems, and facility structures.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA Safety Standards and compliance practices.
  • Experience with Krones equipment is a strong plus.
  • Ability to perform basic math, read technical manuals, and use computer systems for reporting.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 30 ft.
Education & Certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Relevant trade experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water treatment, mechanical, or similar fields highly preferred.
  • Supervisory or lead experience is highly desirable.
Professional Qualifications
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English for workplace safety.
  • Strong, stable work history with 2–3 years per role and solid professional references.
  • Willingness to work overtime and attend training outside normal shift hours.
Why This Role Is Unique

This position requires versatility and independence. You may:

  • Repair a high-value automated machine in the morning,
  • Replace a lighting ballast in the afternoon,
