ServiceNow Admin

*POSITION SUMMARY: *
The ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for all aspects of the ServiceNow environment. This position works closely with business and IT teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs, define requirements, identify solutions through existing functionality or customizations, as well as develop specifications and procedures for programming, testing, installing, and maintaining new or modified applications within the platform.

This role assumes a high degree of advanced knowledge on the ServiceNow platform—including advanced formal training and certifications—and deep skills in various front-end web development languages.

Principle Responsibilities

• Serves as the main point of contact for support, administration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and associated applications.
• Monitors health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
• Creates and configures Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACL's, Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, and SLAs/OLAs/UCs; including advanced scripting of each.
• Creates ServiceNow reports and dashboards using the native reporting module and Performance Analytics.
• Coordinates and facilitates application and platform upgrades.
• Implements new modules.
• Authors and maintains technical documentation.
• Responsible for the creation and documentation of development, test cases, and build plans.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience with administration, configuration, and scripting on the ServiceNow platform.
• ServiceNow CSA Certification.
• Proficient in front-end web development languages, including JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
• ITIL Foundations Certification.

Minimum Qualifications

• Understanding of the ITIL framework.
• Working experience with Agile project management methodology.
