Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential properties, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and other designated spaces
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, appliances, and fixtures
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and polishing hardwood or tile floors
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and maintained properly for optimal performance
• Provide friendly and professional customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring their satisfaction with each visit
• Assist with special cleaning projects such as carpet cleaning or deep cleans upon request
• Follow established safety protocols and sanitation procedures to promote a healthy environment for clients and team members

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, including floor care, sanitation practices, and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to adapt to different client needs and scheduling requirements
• Nice-to-have skills include experience with hotel housekeeping management, carpet cleaning techniques, cooking skills for household chores, or commercial cleaning backgrounds
