Job Summary

Job Description
We are seeking a part-time IT Specialist to support hotel staff, guests, and residents across a variety of onsite technologies. This position is responsible for maintaining stable operation of hotel systems, including music platforms, DirecTV distribution, guest and resident Wi-Fi, and digital signage. The role involves responding to support requests, completing routine maintenance, and ensuring systems operate smoothly. The position requires someone who can work independently and collaborate with others when needed. Select evenings and weekends will be required.

Skills Required

• Micros POS
• Troubleshooting and installation of Microsoft Windows 11
• Computer repair and assembly
• Basic networking knowledge
• Understanding of Wi-Fi, including guest and resident networks
• Experience supporting music systems
• Experience supporting DirecTV distribution systems
• Experience with digital signage platforms
• Experience with ticketing systems such as TrackIT, Guestware, or Hotsos
• Ability to lift 40 lbs or more

Duties

• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues
• Manage and troubleshoot computer hardware components and peripherals
• Support desktop environments across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
• Assist with software troubleshooting for applications such as Microsoft Office,
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure security and optimal performance
• Assist in the setup, deployment, and upgrades of computers and related equipment
• Document issues and resolutions using help desk systems like ServiceNow or Jira
• Collaborate with the IT team to improve system efficiency and security protocols
• Communicate effectively with users to resolve issues promptly and professionally

Experience

• Strong knowledge of computer management, hardware troubleshooting, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• Experience with computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and network security measures
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues related to Microsoft Office applications and enterprise software solutions
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Prior experience working in help desk environments is preferred
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers, switches, routers, and security devices is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
