Duties

• Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, updos, and special occasion styling to meet each client's unique preferences.
• Perform advanced hair coloring techniques such as balayage, highlights, lowlights, and creative color applications.
• Conduct scalp treatments and recommend suitable hair care routines to promote healthy hair growth.
• Educate clients on hair care maintenance and styling tips; assist in lesson planning for adult education classes or workshops.
• Stay current with the latest trends in hair styling and aesthetic treatments by continuously updating skills through training sessions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to health and safety standards while ensuring a welcoming environment for clients.
• Build strong relationships with clients by providing personalized consultations that align with their style goals and lifestyle needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cosmetology with expertise in hair styling.
• Certification or licensure in cosmetology or barbering as required by local regulations.
• Knowledge of anatomy related to scalp health and trigger point therapy techniques is a plus for holistic client care.
• Strong understanding of hair care products, tools, and techniques including deep tissue massage for scalp relaxation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients about maintenance routines and product recommendations.
