We're looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has basic electrical or construction skills, and wants to grow into a leadership role with a high-end outdoor lighting company.
At Lux Lighting, we design and install luxury outdoor lighting systems for some of the most beautiful homes in South Florida. We're expanding our team and looking for the right person to join us, learn our craft, and advance quickly.
What You'll Do
- Install low-voltage outdoor lighting systems (training provided)
- Run and bury direct-burial cable
- Assist with transformer installation and system wiring
- Learn how to program controllers and smart-lighting apps
- Help with fixture placement, aiming, and testing
- Work on high-end residential projects with a professional crew
- Support the team lead and eventually run your own crew
You Are (Ideally):
- Motivated, dependable, and eager to learn a specialized trade
- Comfortable working outdoors in a construction environment
- Have some experience in electrical, landscaping, irrigation, handyman, or construction work
- Mechanically inclined / good with tools
- Can communicate professionally with homeowners
- Detail-oriented and take pride in quality work
- Looking to grow into a Crew Leader / Foreman position
- Valid driver's license required
No lighting experience? No problem. We provide full paid training.

- Monday–Friday
- Pay based on experience, with rapid increases as you learn

- Are you willing to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process?
- Are you comfortable working outdoors in heat, humidity, and weather conditions common in South Florida?
- Are you able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work such as digging, pulling cable, and operating basic tools?

- Have you ever worked with low-voltage wiring (landscape lighting, irrigation, alarm systems, audio, etc.)?
- Are you comfortable using tools such as wire strippers, trenching shovels, drills, multimeters, etc.?

- Are you willing to occasionally speak with homeowners in a professional and respectful manner?
- Are you interested in growing into a lead/foreman role as you gain experience?
