P-1 Licensed Plumber (Part-Time)

Overview

Contemporary Tiny Homes is seeking a licensed P-1 Plumber to support our residential construction projects. The focus is solely on new plumbing systems and installations.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled plumber who has their own customers but is looking to complement their hours by joining a fast-growing company committed to craftsmanship, sustainability, and innovative housing.

Responsibilities

• Perform all residential plumbing installations for new homes in compliance with Connecticut codes and safety standards.
• Interpret blueprints and building plans to determine plumbing layouts and fixture locations.
• Install water supply, drainage, and venting systems.
• Coordinate with inspectors, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure timely inspections and approvals.
• Provide input on project schedules to align plumbing work with other construction phases.

Experience with septic systems and holding a Subsurface Sewage Disposal System Installer License are not required, but are a big plus

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Connecticut P-1 Plumbing License.
• Deep knowledge of Connecticut plumbing codes and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and safely with minimal supervision.
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $ $70.00 per hour

Experience:

• Carpentry: 5 years (Preferred)
• Septic Systems: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• P-1 Plumbing License in CT (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Connecticut (Required)
