We are hiring a Senior Commercial Loan Processor who will be responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end processing of commercial loan applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. This role involves gathering and verifying documentation, preparing loan files, and working closely with underwriters, loan officers, and Members to facilitate smooth and efficient loan processing. The Senior Commercial Loan Processor also resolves complex issues, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports team members to uphold high Member service standards and contribute to department goals.
Business Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
*Based upon business needs, our positions may require working flexible hours, including weekends.
This position is based in Anaheim Hills, CA with the opportunity to work on a hybrid-remote schedule which consists of 2 days in-office and 3 days working remote from home.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of commercial lending experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in all applicable MS Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- Maintain positive and professional behavior and image with credit union Members, staff, management, and board.
- Keep all credit union and Member information confidential.
- Establish and maintain effective business relationships with staff in other departments.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain a working knowledge of policies and procedures necessary to effectively perform job duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and verify loan applications and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and finalize loan files for funding, ensuring all conditions are met before disbursement.
- Coordinate with underwriters, loan officers, and Members to address and resolve documentation discrepancies or funding conditions.
- Process loan disbursements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all loan processing activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and assist the commercial lending supervisor with any necessary adjustments to processes and procedures.
- Provide exceptional service to Members by addressing funding-related inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist commercial lending supervisor to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Prepare reports on funding activity, trends, and compliance to share with management.
- Complete understanding and active application the C.A.R.E. 4 Guide expectations and the Brand Communications Standards Accountability Philosophy.
- Must be able and available to work a "hybrid" schedule, per business operations requirement, as needed.
- Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
We support Pay Transparency and are a pay-for-performance organization that benchmarks base pay to the 50th percentile of market data.
Pay Scale: Min $26.20 / Mid $34.31 / Max $40.37* an hour
*Actual compensation will be based on geographical location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
