Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Handle floor care tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine flooring conditions
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests and staff
• Follow established protocols for cleaning in hotel or hospitality environments to meet health and safety standards
• Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently for industrial or large-scale cleaning projects
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas with attention to detail
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
• Adhere to company policies regarding sanitation procedures and guest privacy

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments; hotel experience is a plus
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, and polishing floors
• Strong understanding of janitorial and industrial cleaning practices
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
• Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently or as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a fast-paced environment
