POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Administrator works with the PDC Manager and site supervisor, to coordinate workers performance of the warehouse primary activities of receiving, picking and shipping. They will lead by example and foster a positive team-building atmosphere. They will strive to continuously improve operations, with a focus on inbound and outbound activities. Primary responsibility is to ensure all Warehouse related data entry tasks relevant to receiving are completed daily. Backup to Warehouse Coordinator.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to operational procedures.
- Ensure all Warehouse data entry is completed prior to end of day shift.
- Assist when necessary, Warehouse personnel to prioritize daily workload;
- Monitor Warehouse reporting (Open pick slip lines, open receiving lines) daily and advise status to Warehouse Manager/Supervisor.
- Coordinate and ensure timely shipping of vendor returns.
- Assist with Inventory reconciliations and cycle count entry as required.
- Ensure all material received daily from Suppliers, Work Orders, Intercompany and Customers etc. is received into Oracle in a timely manner.
- Control the Receiving Variance Process and work closely wit Parts Organization staff to resolve all issues.
- Ensure all relevant Shipping documents are completed and attached to all shipments leaving the Warehouse. (i.e: MSDS sheets, Customs documents, Fedex reports, Bill of Ladings, etc.).
- Coordinate Coach down process from receipt to shipment.
- Assist when necessary, in other tasks as the need arises
Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite required (knowledge of TMS and Oracle experience a plus).
- Data entry experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with Customer Service, Procurement, Logistics and other teams as required.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Position will require frequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, and walking
