Senior OpenShift Virtualization Specialist

We're seeking talented and highly motivated OpenShift specialists to join a critical, high-priority initiative focused on migrating and enhancing virtualization infrastructure based on Red Hat OpenShift.

What You'll Do

• Design and deploy OpenShift virtualization infrastructure: Build and deploy new, high-performance OpenShift infrastructure with a strong focus on low-latency, media-centric deployments in on-premises data centers.
• Tune and upgrade OpenShift virtualization infrastructure: To meet client needs, improve stability and performance, solve ongoing problems, facilitate replication and management, among other objectives.
• Collaborate and Schedule: Work a flexible schedule to align with team schedules and tight migration windows.

Requirements

What You'll Bring

• OpenShift VM Architecture Proficiency: Strong practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift's virtualization infrastructure, including deployment, configuration, and management, with special focus on low latency, high replication, high utilization environments
• Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to accommodate critical migration windows.

Nice-to-Haves

• Media Delivery Experience: Prior infrastructure development and deployment experience within media delivery pipelines.
• Low-Latency Experience: Expertise in building and optimizing infrastructure for demanding low-latency performance requirements.

Compensation

• The expected salary range for this position is $60 – $100 CAD per hour, based on experience and technical proficiency.
