Job Overview

Join the IHG Hotels & Resorts team as a Breakfast Attendant for a career in hospitality. The recently opened Holiday Inn Express and Suites is looking for Friendly and Breakfast Attendant to join our hotel operations team in Lima, Ohio In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our breakfast area is welcoming, clean, and well-stocked for our guests. You will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive dining experience for all guests. We are looking for part-time, but have the availability for full-time.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
• Prepare and present breakfast items according to food safety standards.
• Monitor food levels and replenish items as needed throughout the breakfast service.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and functioning properly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting with any inquiries.
• Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally to enhance their experience.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and dietary restrictions to assist guests effectively.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
• Break down and clean breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and preparation for the next day.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.

• Basic knife skills for food preparation tasks may be required.
